The City Council plans to discuss the budget again at its Monday workshop meeting, which starts at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.

Steve Peters, president of third-party management group VenuWorks, presented a proposal to the board seeking $500,000 on behalf of the Rialto Theater. This funding is $100,000 less than the city had given the Rialto in recent years and would be utilized for the maintenance of the theater as well as maximizing economic development through programming.
